What To Expect

Your session will be set in studio or on location depending on your type of session. My goal for your session is to capture your precious moments in a relaxed environment. My outdoor session are shoot in 100% natural light and I strive to capture unscripted natural moments or your child or family.

Your session will be 1-3 hours depending on your type of session and the location. I do my best to accommodate your family and your schedule but do assure that your session is schedule for our optimized success.

Once a date is decided your non refundable retainer is due to hold your date. Due to limited availability, session dates will be held for no more then 3 days without retainer payments being made. If retainer payments is not made by the 3rd day the date will become available to new clients.

After your session is complete you will be schedule for an in person ordering appointment. This appointment will be schedule typically a week after your session. This is where we’ll unveil your images for the first also when you will be ordering your products. I will be there to guide you and show you all the products and collection available as well as help you decide what would look best in your home.

When should I call to schedule my newborn session? It is best to book your session before the baby arrives. Ideally the third trimester is best so you can assure a spot on my calendar. I will pencil your due date in on the calendar. Once your baby is born it’s important to contact me to set a date. I accept a very limited amount newborns a month so booking early is important.

When will newborn session take place? Photographing your newborn is best within the first 14 days of life. During this time we are most likely to capture those sweet and snuggly posed shots as they are the sleepiest and most flexible from the womb.

How long will my newborn session take? Your session will take 1-3 hours so it is very important to arrive on time. Your child safety and comfort is my main concern. We will stop for any needed cuddle time or feedings.

What do I need to bring to my newborn session? During you pre consultation we will be discussing you hopes and vision for your session. I have a variety of handcrafted hats, clothing, headbands, and props to use during your session. Please let me know ahead of time if there is any special items you would like to bring to your session.

When is the best time to book my Maternity session? The ideal time to book you maternity session is 28 to 32 weeks. This time frame is perfect to capture those blooming belly well allowing mom to still be comfortable during her session.

What is a Fresh 48 session? This session is a documentary style session that is taken in a hospital setting the first 48 hours after your childs birth. It is important to book these session early to assure a spot on my calendar. I then ask that I be added to the call list when you are headed to the hospital so that I may make arrangements to photograph your new bundle of joy in the hospital.
