HOW DO I SCHEDULE A SESSION WHEN I DON'T KNOW WHEN BABY WILL BE HERE?

This is a great question. As we know, babies come on their own time which makes a concrete date impossible. We set a date about 10-14 days after your expected due date. This is the ideal time frame to photograph newborns. This tentative day will place you on the calendar to assure no overbooking. Through email and phone communication, we stay in touch on how your pregnancy is progressing. Once  your baby actually arrives, we review our original date to see if we need to make any adjustments. 
 
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MATERNITY SESSION?

Booking your maternity session around  28- 35 week is ideal. This timeframe assures mommy has developed that baby bump but is not so far along in the pregnancy that she is uncomfortable during her session. We want mommies to feel their best during the session and love capturing those bumps.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MILESTONE SESSION?

This can depend on what type of session you're planning to book. The best times frame for our 6 month "sitter" sessions can be different for each child as each reaches that sitting milestone at a different pace. We set a tentative date and adjusted if needed once we approach 6 months. As for our 1 year sessions we recommend one month prior to their first birthday or the date of your planned celebration. This allows time for viewing, editing, and any product orders. 

WHAT IS LITTLE SPROUTLINGS BABY PLAN?
 
We just love our Little Sproutlings around the studio! This is a year long photographic celebration for your little one. With this plan we will be capturing your little one at their 6 month "sitter" milestone, 1 year session, and wrap up their toddler years with a complementary family session in year 2. We have exclusive product available to our baby planners and have lots of fun photographing these memories. 

WHAT WILL WE WEAR?

This can feel like one of the biggest challenges when preparing for portrait photography. Don't worry we have you covered. In our studio closet you can find a wide selections of maternity gown, outfit choices for your newborn and toddler, as well as a resource guide on picking out the right outfits for the family. 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS & HOW MANY WILL I GET ?

About 3-4 weeks after your session takes place is when you can expect to have your portraits or product in hand. We pride ourselves on having unique products which does take design time. We do recommend booking early to assure availability and time if your photos are needed by a certain day.  We have several package option most choosing to customize their need with our "Create A Collection". Our investments start at $795 with options of paring digital files along with a signature art piece. 


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Cancellations must be made 72 hrs prior to your session date. All cancellations made within 72 hrs forfeits their retainer. When rescheduling with more than 72 hours notice, the retainer you paid may be applied toward your rescheduled session date. If the session is not rebooked within 6 months, the retainer is forfeited.   Client agrees to be on time to the scheduled session.  Any clients that is 30 minutes or more late to their appointment time will have to be reschedule and forfeit their original session fee. An additional fee of half their original session fee will be charged to reschedule the session.

WILL MY LITTLE ONE BE SAFE DURING THE SESSION?

Our clients safety is always our #1 concern. Jessica has been professionally trained in newborn safety and posing. From props and wraps specifically designed for your little one, to newborns never being unattended during the session, you can rest assure your little one will be safe throughout the session. We are a licensed and insured photography studio and continue our education an any updated safety techniques  from the industries leading specialist. 

DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?

Yes, all purchased images are fully edited, products are quality checked, and our clients satisfactions is one of our top priorities. 

WHY  SHOULD I PRINT AND SHOULD  I  PRINT THROUGH YOU?

We have some of the leading labs that print all of our client product and prints. Each being color calibrated to Jessica monitor to assure products are being returned with her exact edit and color profiles. All of our labs produce archival, museum grade products.  Many ask what do I do with my files once I receive them? We educate you on how to care for digital files and printing is key in doing that. All clients purchased files will be loaded to a gallery linked to a recommenced consumer lab that can be a helpful resource for high quality prints. 

CAN MY SPOUSE OR OTHER CHILDREN BE INCLUDED IN THE SESSION?

Absolutely and we encourage it. Theres nothing better than capturing your families new dynamics. Your little one will grow so quickly and looking back at how they once fit so tiny in your arm will definitely be a memory to cherish. 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCATIONS TO SHOOT?

All of our newborn and milestone sessions take place in our studio located in the Hemet area. The studio is fully equipped with all of the props and supplies needed for your session. Our maternity sessions are slightly different, we have the options to photograph in studio our capture images in a few of our favorite outdoor locations.
